I wonder if those lights were UFOs? After witnessing other UFOs later in life, I now believe I did witness SOMETHING! Another such incident happened when I was 13. We had moved to a nearby town and I was playing in the street with a neighbor while our parents were visiting with friends. It was late afternoon and the weather was warm. High in the sky was an extremely fast moving disk moving east to west. One of the adults was an Air Force Colonel. He said that it wasn't an airplane, it wasn't a satellite, and it wasn't a balloon. "Ladies and Gentleman", he exclaimed,"that's a real UFO!!!"

A few years ago, I was working at an isolated place in the desert. I was driving to work early one morning (about 3 AM) on Highway 85 when suddenly the whole sky lit up like daylight and a huge disk appeared and seemed to hang for a second before it streaked across the sky and seemed to crash on the other side of the mountain. I supposed it was a meteor but there was no mention of it in any of the local newspapers. Another UFO?

Just before I wrote the song " Who's Watching?", there was an episode of the TV show Unsolved Mysteries that dealt with a soldier that had a lost time experience. This jogged a memory of an incident that I had almost forgotten. I was playing in the band Canyon at the Cork and Bottle Lounge in Las Cruces, NM. After a gig, I met a young man who said he was an MP at a local base. (Continued on page 3)
